The Middle East Through My Lens


Being first-generation isn’t easy. Growing up, I often felt caught between two worlds; I was neither fully Middle Eastern nor fully American enough. Inspired to reconnect with my Iraqi culture and Chaldean-Assyrian roots, this series reflects the deep pride I have in my cultural identity. It also aims to resonate with others in the diaspora, whether first-generation or not. Through "The Middle East Through My Lens," I blend tradition with modern storytelling, highlighting Middle Eastern cultural fashion and the rich narratives behind it.
